You can do this‼️

So I started this journey 4 1/2 months ago, I was at 252 pounds, I was truly unhappy with how I looked and how I felt so I decided to do something about it. I joined @noom to help with my eating habits and the psychological aspect of weight loss. I knew I had to incorporate movement and exercise. My step count was horrendous especially on the weekends. Since I usually stay home all weekend, I was literally only doing maybe 2500 steps each day 😩🤦🏻‍♀️ so that definitely had to change‼️ The “normal” step count each day for people should be 10,000 steps a day. I have all this technology (Apple Watch, great apps, etc) but I wasn’t utilizing them to their full potential‼️ My watch reminds me to get up and move every hour but I was only doing enough to remove the alert 🚨. I knew that wasn’t enough so I created a path in my house and started doing 5 “laps” every hour, then I bumped up to 7 and now I’m up to 10 and my step count is now at 7,000+ a day. I have a coworker that used to be a personal trainer who is now giving me and a couple other coworkers “assignments” 🤣🤣🤣 and he does take into account my health issues. So not only am I eating healthier, I am exercising, getting the proper sleep I need and drinking a gallon of water a day‼️ I have been at a plateau for over a month now and although it was very discouraging I never gave up and I’m so glad I didn’t‼️I know I have a ways to go for my goal but progress is progress. I hope this gives someone hope that there is NOTHING you can’t do‼️ #noomnerd #weightlossjourney #determination
